Support the 4th Annual SquashDrive Slam

Thursday, May 19th - Professional Doubles Exhibition & Dinner
Saturday, May 21st - Invitational Team Tournament

The Slam is SquashDrive's major annual fundraiser. This two-day event combines a professional doubles exhibition, dinner and silent auction, and an invitational team tournament. Last year, we raised over $100,000. This year, we are setting our goal even higher and are seeking to raise $200,000 to support SquashDrive program growth in the areas of high school support and college preparation.

Professional Doubles Exhibition & Dinner
The professional double match will bring together 4 top squash professionals for a friendly and entertaining match. Last year's exhibition matched Preston Quick (SDA world #19) and Mark Talbott (Head coach, Stanford University, former world #1, hardball) against Andres Vargas (SDA world #26) and Busani Xaba (University Club pro). Stay tuned for this year's match up! After the exhibition, attendees will move to the beautiful 3rd floor dining room of the University Club for a formal dinner and silent auction.

Invitational Team Tournament
The SquashDrive Slam tournament brings together teams composed of professional and amateur, singles and doubles players from across the Bay Area. In addition to competing on the court, participants generously commit to raising at least $5,000 as a team.

SquashDrive History & Mission
SquashDrive is an urban youth development program for underserved Bay Area students, founded by Lauren Patrizio Xaba in 2010. The program's mission is to promote academic, athletic, and personal growth through a unique combination of individual academic tutoring, squash instruction, health and fitness training, community service, and cultural enrichment opportunities.

Help us ignite the “drive” within these children to be successful, well-rounded individuals who contribute greatly to society, and have the tools to achieve their full potential. Click on the links above to support this year's teams!
